Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day

We remember the 6.5 million Jews who were murdered during the Holocaust. Monday, April 17th is Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, on the Hebrew calendar. The word yom means “day,” while HaShoah means “the catastrophe” or “utter destruction.” This refers to the atrocities committed against the Jewish people during WWII and the Holocaust.
